I was thinking of changing our shower curtains today, and was about to go out shopping when I was suddenly seized by the thought: what if I could make it? Can I even do such a thing? Well, thank you YouTube. You are wonderful as always for letting me see this:
Aren't you just blown away at the concept? It had me fooled for a second there, too. The whole installation measures 13x3.5 meters. AND IT IS IN STENCIL. Yes. I have nothing else to say but BRAVO.
Sometimes storage can really be a big problem in a home. Either you have too much things and are running out of spaces to store them, or you have moderately enough possessions but unfortunately your home does not have such provisions. It can also be that you have a small space - and that can be a challenge. I found three examples that I really like:
1. A bookshelf under the stairs - genius idea and really quirky!
2. A sliding door that reveals secret storage space - and I love the chalkboard paint on the walls, too!
3. Bookshelf in the kitchen - what a lovely idea to store your cookbooks in! Plus it's a pretty smart way of utilizing the space above and below wherever possible, so every bit is maximized.
Japan was devastated by an 8.9 earthquake and tsunami today, causing widespread damage. They need our help. Donate to the charitable organization of your choice to do your part with relief efforts:
I like this combination of colors in any room. So peaceful. Being in one of these rooms will relax me immediately and calm my soul. Don't you just love it when colors and design plays a big part in our lives and in such a lovely way? (Click on the photos for the source.)
So I have blogged a lot about using accessories to make your home beautiful. But what about plants? Have you ever thought of using something organic for your home? Some say that having a real plant inside the house is a good thing, because they help purify the air that you breathe. It can also give you energy and add color to the house. Also, if you would like to bring in the feel of the outdoors, what better way than to have plants?
You don't have to bring in big plants, too. Even the little ones, if put in little pots and bottles can add a friendlier and more whimsical feel to your house. Here are some great examples (click on the photos for the source):
Love them. Yes I love to paint my walls, but sometimes I am also head over heels in love with wallpaper. I love it so much, sometimes I dream of having a lot of rooms in my house just so I could assign a different wallpaper for each. It's just really, really fantastic eye candy. So feast on these!
Aaaaah! Everything is so delicious! As always, credit goes to the original source when you click the photos.
