Someday I will get to dine like this.

Oh, to be able to dine with friends and family, on a lovely day, and better yet - outside, under the sun, listening to the plants grow, feeling the earth beneath our feet: this kind of beauty is enough to make me a poet! Someday, oh, someday:

Before and After: Play Kitchen

This is so cool! Something to make for your kid :) Wish I could've thought of this when I was much younger. If you have an old cabinet, you can repurpose it and turn it into a mini kitchen! Really lovely. Made me smile.

A Father's Day update

Wow, since my last post, I already made 2 sales from my Father's Day store. Yippee! I love waking up in the morning to an email alert waiting in my inbox. Making designs is so fun. I even showed my brother's wife what I made and she loves them all! We are gonna have one of my creations printed for him. I'm so excited. Here are the two items that sold:

Planting Herbs?

Here's a neat little trick from Martha Stewart: you can paint the edges of the pot in chalkboard paint. Then you can just write on them and label the pots according to the herbs that you plant! Isn't it brilliant?

DIY Paper Flowers

Some homes do not allow for real plants. Either there's not enough space or there's no room for them to grow. But if you find yourself wanting to add a little pretty touch to the home, you can opt to do some paper flowers. They're very easy to do and inexpensive, too. All you need is some paper and a little imagination, really.

I found this nice illustration of what kind of cuts would result to the corresponding flower:

DIY Monograms

Here's a new idea you can do by yourself. If you love monograms, you can display yours, or your husband's, or even your kids' initials on your walls by using buttons and a little creativity:

New fathers day gift ideas

I don't really ever celebrate commercial holidays like Valentines Day and Fathers Day but I had a change of heart recently when I found out that my big brother is going to be having a baby. I'm soooo happy for my brother cuz this is his first kid and he's super excited too. I can barely believe that he'll be someone's father, but aside from that I'm very proud of him. I can't wait to meet the kid! Anyway, in honor of my bro, I made some new Fathers Day designs. I'm hoping that he and/or other folks will like them :)

This is so cute!

Imagine storing your child's clothes in a cabinet or boudoir that will tell him exactly what to put in each drawer:

Now isn't that a great and fun way to get organized?

Something different: iphone cases :)

Hey Folks, I have decided to make a foray into making some of the other products offered on Zazzle. I'm thinking that people like/have iPhones, so I've chosen iPhone cases as my first new product. At first I couldn't choose between the iPhone 3gs and iPhone 4 cases, but now I'm pretty sure that I made the right decision since most people with Verizon are now switching over to iPhones, too. That's what I did :) Anyway, take a look at my first design and let me know what you think:

So, what do ya think? I feel like I'm up a creek in terms of designing. Like I have no idea what other people want to put on their phones so I made something pretty general, but I still have hope that it will sell. I mean, what girl doesn't like flowers? Anyway, back to Photoshop I go.
