And speaking of kitchens, here are some lovely kitchen ideas that I am thinking of trying out for myself. I spend a lot of the time in the kitchen - cooking, eating, and just hanging out. Out of the whole house this is where the family mostly spend their time, and we've had a lot of wonderful meals and conversations here.
The most beautiful thing I've seen lately is PioneerWoman's sugar and flour drawers! Oh my! Such a genius idea. The sliding door is perfect to keep the bugs away, and the glass panel makes it easy for you to know how much there is left:

Some vintage storage ideas via Apartment Therapy. Not so much into the old metal lockers ones. I mean, I do like them, but not specifically for this feel. Too cramped and gray. Love these French inspired home designs via House and Home. They just really speak of elegance and sophistication, yet is bold and full of character. Of course I'm dreaming still, but someday, someday. I will have something like this for my home, you'll see!
